I appreciate the posts on this thread, as I seem to be having a similar issue. I am using the original power supply that came with the Raspberry Shake (RS3D v9 1009), and I am getting similar issues. I am wondering if this is because I have installed a USB storage drive and a wifi dongle (I should also mention that the GPS antenna that came with the device is also plugged in). I installed the wifi dongle following these steps and the USB storage drive following steps here. Everything seemed to work alright (though currently the fars-robotics site seems to be down, so I could not get the wifi dongle driver installed on one of the shakes). Here are a couple examples of some data that I am getting back, one from obspy and one from a plotting function I put together (red bars are data gaps in the second image):

The gaps are not always regular intervals like in these two images, but they often are.
Could the USB Storage and/or dongle be drawing extra power and causing this issue?
