Hello,
i installed rsudp; its working fine. The only thing I cannot solve is the time delay. It is 2h14m. 1 hour is for my timezone (CET) that’s clear to me, but the second one and the 14m I do not understand.
Thanks for helping.

Hello Tobias,
Let’s see, from the data that flows to our network, I’d say that your Shake time service is working as expected.
To be sure, could I ask you to download the logs from the Shake and post them (if required, instructions on how to do so can be found here)?
Onto RSUDP, very small delays can be expected depending on the processing power that is available on your RSUDP machine. But that much time is definitely excessive.
Does new data flow “fluidly” when RSUDP is running, or are there many breaks/pauses in the live stream?
Let’s see what the logs tell us.
Thank you!
Hello Stormchaser,
thank you very much. Yes, now it is working as expected, but I think there is a bug ion the GUI. When trying to set to static IP the shake refused internet connection. Of course I tried several times and each time I tried, I got new entry in /etc/dhcpcd.conf
After deleting all the stuff and putting the data manually (static router was missing) I rebooted and Shaky talked to mom

Hello Tobias,
Yes, there is a known bug that, in some cases, generates what you have seen. The next Shake OS release (no ETA yet) will have that bug fixed, so you’ll be able to add a static IP from the Shake GUI successfully.
Thank you for your feedback!
