Youtube streaming

Can someone point me at resources so I can stream the output of my shake to Youtube? There are a few channels that do this, and it seems like a fun project.

Hello briansheets,

Yes, streaming can be fun. However, at least for me, there was a bit of a learning curve when I started back in 2019.

This is the software I use to stream. It is widely used and I know a couple of other RShake streamers use it also: https://obsproject.com/

OBS will allow you to stream anything you can view on your computers.

There are many YouTube videos with guides on setting up and using OBS. Here is one I grabbed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z9GiEM4uvA

Some info from YouTube on setting up for live streaming: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2907883?hl=en

The above is more of a firehose of info. If you have more specific questions, let me know. I started with just the basics and then added more functionality as I learned more.
