Watchdog timer reboot?

Can a watch dog timer be incorporated to restart the RPI shake program so it can reconnect to the server? Can it be set to different time intervals ?

I noticed some remote RPI shakes are still offline ?

The last server outage required a cold reboot to reconnect to the server.

Yes, you can enable the watchdog timer, and yes it can be used to check for network connectivity. The help resources surrounding the Pi watchdog aren’t very good but some blog posts are. Here’s one that might be of use:
