why?
Hello abderrmann, and welcome to the community!
Without detailed VNC logs it’s difficult to determine why this error appeared when connecting to the Shake. If you have them, please forward the files in your reply so we can take a look.
To answer your question on Discord, there are various ways to access the data that your Shake records:
- How to visualize data in real time: How to visualize the waveforms in real time
- How to download data from the Shake: How to download your data
- Our UDP data transmission protocol: Raspberry Shake Data Producer UDP Port Output
- Our RSUDP application: rsudp 2.0.1 — rsudp documentation
If the VNC console continues to not work, and you require remote access to the Shake, you can consider installing ZeroTier (How to connect to Raspberry Shake remotely), which has proved to be a good alternative.

check if this is a VNC logs
hello abderrman,
as you may know, the Shake-OS is a modified version of the Raspberry Pi OS, where, in the interest of maximizing disk space, all display libraries and programs have been removed. this makes using VNC, without installing all necessary dependencies on the Pi itself, not possible. (it is not recommended to install these libraries and programs on the Shake’s Pi computer, they are very heavy.)
alternative methods to access your Shake can be found in this chatGPT conversation:
hope this helps,
