I have a Calix router inside which connects via 5.5(?) GHz backhaul to a Calix mesh extender in the garage. The router sees the Shake, but when I try to configure the Shake’s SSID and password, it (usually) says the credentials were not valid.
I say usually because I have gotten it to work, for months sometimes, but a router reboot or power outage occurs, and the Shake configuration says it is running but not forwarding data.
I have tried it with and without a static IP of 192.168.1.20, which is where it “lives.”
Yes, we are aware that some routers authentication processes reply with a “Credential not valid” message even if the credentials are, in fact, valid. We are working to try and address this in future Shake OS releases.
