Unintentional observation… of a meteor

I seem to have picked up the meteor blast off Boston today: Station View: Raspberry Shake Network & EQ Activity Map

Not a strong trace - would be lost in background if you didn’t look for it.

Context: Meteor explodes off coast of Massachusetts, causing loud boom - CBS Boston

Backyard footage: Boston Boom at the Bird Buddy - Spectra Video

Audio conversion: Audio interpretation of seismic data from the Boston Boom - Spectra Video

Hello parsingphase, and welcome to the community!

I was looking at this event from what the NOAA weather satellites captured (below)

For all readers, usually, this product displays lightning strikes (like the smaller ones on the right), but a meteor burn-up would also be detected, as in this case (the main white/blue “anomaly” at the center)!

Impressive trace from the Shake, particularly because it’s on a seismic channel and not on an infrasound one.

Thank you for sharing!
