Strong EQs swamp noise

My RS1D station R00B9 is very noisy. It lies between a busy thoroughfare (13,000 vehicles per day) 50 m to the east and a railway line 50m to the west.
But look what happens when a decent-sized EQ arrives:

I was sitting in an armchair, having just turned off the TV, and about to go to bed when I felt a very mild shaking, similar to what happens when a train goes past. Was it an EQ? Or my imagination? Well, the RS felt it too. And notice that the noise around it was irrelevant. The EQ swamped the noise.

Conclusion: Some people get hung up on siting the RS, but when it comes to strong EQs, siting is not that important.
