Important Update: ShakeNet Web Portal Transition
We want to inform you about an upcoming change to our ShakeNet web portal (shakenet.raspberryshake.org).
When we first introduced ShakeNet’s web portal, it was intended to be a central hub for everything Raspberry Shake. However, despite its many features, it didn’t engage the community as we had hoped. Only a handful of users regularly utilize the web portal. For viewing their Shake’s waveforms in real time, others long ago migrated to using StationView (https://stationview.raspberryshake.org/) and DataView (https://dataview.raspberryshake.org/), which have more feature-rich viewing options.
With this in mind, we have decided to redirect our resources to areas that continue to engage the community and create value for all. Effective from August 1st, 2024, the ShakeNet web portal will be transformed into a quick access page for Raspberry Shake and our Software Suite. This new access point will allow users to access all Raspberry Shake data, both live and historical, and visualize and interact with it more effectively.
Don’t worry, you will still be able to manage your profile and private data in full, as before, via the same shakenet.raspberryshake.org link.
And rest assured, our community forum is here to stay. If you have any questions or need assistance, we will be available to help you there.
(Note that this change will not affect the ShakeNet mobile app, StationView, DataView or any other mobile/ web service)
Continued Improvements and Exciting Updates
We are committed to continuously improving our software suite to enhance your Raspberry Shake experience. Stay tuned for upcoming updates and a special surprise that will make your experience even better.
From everyone here, thank you for being a part of the Raspberry Shake community.
Happy Shaking!
