Shake having some data gaps

What is the problem you are experiencing?
I have recently experienced a strange issue: several low-frequency spikes started to appear frequently, and afterwards the Shake stopped sending data to the Raspberry Shake server for several hours. It came back online by itself, but this problem worries me. In addition, I keep seeing periodic data gaps, as shown in the attached screenshots.

When did it first appear? (Was it after a power cut?)
The problem appeared almost right after installing the Shake. Some data gaps were present. A few days ago there was a short power cut, but these problems started a few days after that event.

Is your RS connected to a home or school/office network?
It is connected in a home environment, about 3 meters away from the router.

Has your hardware (Shake board, power supply, Raspberry Pi, etc.) been supplied entirely by us?
Yes, the complete unit was supplied directly by Raspberry Shake.

Hello Jonathan, and welcome to our community!

Thank you very much for your detailed description, the screenshots, and the log files.

About those, it seems that the zipped archive is corrupt, for some reason. Can I ask you to do the following procedure before downloading the new logs?

  • turn off your Shake
  • disconnect all cables from it
  • restart your router and wait for it to regain internet connection
  • now reconnect LAN and power cables to the Shake in this order
  • turn on the Shake again

Then, wait until the gaps appear again (if they do), download the new logs after the data transmission to the server resumes (to capture the data gaps in their entirety) and send them to me.

Also, if you can, post the most two recent local Shake helicorder images accessed via this button in the bottom bar.
