Server Connection : Not Connected

Hi, for some reason, for the last few days, I’ve noticed that my Shake is not uploading data to the community server. Data Forwarding is switched on and the Server Connection : Not Connected is shown.
Attached are the all-important log files.

I’ve also tried to deactivate my broadband router’s firewall, but that did not solve the problem.

hello,

your log files indicate that the unit is running in stand-alone mode, where this means that no internet connection is assumed, therefore NTP is not started. when there is no NTP, data will not be forwarded off the unit by default since without NTP the timing is bad.

please log on to your Pi and run the following commands to undo this:

> rsh-stand-alone
> sudo reboot

confirmation that your unit is no longer in stand-alone mode can be found in the postboot.log file which will clearly indicate:

  1. access to the internet is confirmed
  2. access to a DNS server is confirmed
  3. NTP services are available
  4. an IP address has been successfully assigned
