Seedlink server?

Is there any seedlink server running where I could download data from rs stations?

cheers

hi palmi,

there is a seedlink server running on each shake unit itself (subject to change), but no centralized seedlink server available for all shakes, if that’s what you mean.

cheers,

richard

Thanks for reply.

Is there any other way than running swarm to collect data from few neighboring shakes?

yes, you can use the FDSN server that is available. instructions can be found here.

Hey Ivor,

I know this post is relatively dated, but I was just hoping to clarify your statement. Is the seedlink server running by default upon startup, or does it need to be started somewhere in the URL or via SSH?

Hello jpschmidt8,

Yes, the seedlink server runs at Shake startup, and is, among other things, the basis for our real-time UDP data transmission, as shown here in our manual: Raspberry Shake Data Producer UDP Port Output — Instructions on Setting Up Your Raspberry Shake
