Rs4d type c connector

Hi,

I’m having a problem reformatting my RS4D (with a Type-C connector, no HDMI port).
After inserting a new memory card with OS data, then waited approximately 20 minutes for OS installation on it, but rs.local is not working. I’m trying to find a way to get its default IP address so I can input a static IP on it.

Hello waw0102, and welcome back to the community!

The first thing you can do when you boot it again with the new microSD card is checking that all LEDs are operating as expected following the list here.

During the very first boot the list differs slightly, with the green LED next to the red one on the Pi board much more active and sometimes constantly on. This is a sign that everything is proceeding as expected during first-boot operations. And your timing is correct, it shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes maximum.

If you cannot access the network’s modem/router administration page, I’ll leave the link to the (Fing app), which shows all the IP addresses of any device connected to your local network.
