RS3D Network Documentation

Hello,

I’d like to connect my RS3D to the university network via Ethernet. The IT team requires:

  • Datasheet and data flow architecture
  • Destination communication address

Where can I find this information? Is it available online? I checked the manual but couldn’t locate these details (I guess the communication address is the dataview website?).

Let’s see, for the complete technical specification of your RS3D, you can forward this link to your IT team.

You can find a sample data flow chart here. It’s for the RS1D, but the principle is the same, only with more sensors for the 3D.

I am not sure what they mean with “destination communication address”, but if they are referring to where the Shake will send its data to, our server can be found at raspberryshakedata.com.

For anything concerning required open ports and firewalls, you can check this page in our manual.
