Hello developers and non-developers alike! Downloading data from the Raspberry Shake FDSN server just got a lot easier. We are finally available as an official data source in obspy 1.2.0.
For example, you used to have to do this:
from obspy.clients.fdsn.client import Client
rs = Client('https://fdsnws.raspberryshakedata.com')
rs.get_waveforms('....
Now, you don’t need to remember our data server name. Just 'RASPISHAKE' will do.
from obspy.clients.fdsn.client import Client
rs = Client('RASPISHAKE')
rs.get_waveforms('....
