Hi,
I have a RS3D board and sensors, and would like to use it pick seismic data. I plan to use my own raspberry pi 4 board and bury RS3D sensors (with/without RS3D board) underground which may be over 1 meter away from the raspberry pi 4 and connect RS3D board to raspberry pi with extension wires. From previous post by other users, it seems that geophones cannot be put far away from the board. I am wondering if my idea works?

I don’t think this is possible with just extending the wiring, due to issues with noise pickup. See this post:
