Update: work is continuing to fix the ongoing live data issue with services (StationView, DataView, FDSNWS) that will be restored as soon as possible.

From here at Raspberry Shake, we wish to thank the entire community for the support and patience they have demonstrated during these challenging last few days.

Update: live-data streaming capabilities have been restored across StationView and DataView. If you still don’t see live data, please fully reload those pages with Ctrl+F5 or MAC equivalent.

Archive data access is still being worked on, so it is not yet available, and it has now become our main priority. Please understand that while live-streaming services are restored, not all functionality within StationView is immediately available. Anything missing continues to be worked on and will become available as soon as possible.

You may see gaps or glitches in the data streams, but rest assured that all data is being recorded in full if your Shake is transmitting to our servers, and any recent (last few days) gaps that are present will disappear once our work is finished.

We continue to thank you all for the help offers, the support, and the understanding you have shown us.

Update: a late one for today, but we continue to work on the archive data access restoration, and we are implementing further resilience methods on the real-time data access.

This continues to be our main priority and will remain as such for all involved teams until the work is complete.

The next update will be tomorrow, Thursday, February 15th. Thank you.

Update: we are actively addressing the issue of accessing archived data, which remains unavailable at this time, and it has been moved to our top priority since some days ago. We also continue to work to restore any missing functionality from our online services.

The next update will be tomorrow, Tuesday, February 20th. Thank you.

Update: more functionalities have been restored/enhanced today. For the remaining unavailable services, we anticipate the following:

  • response file download from StationView by the end of this week; and
  • 24-hour data file download from StationView by the end of this week.

Access to historical data remains, for the moment, restricted. However, this is being actively worked on to bring it back online as soon as possible in the near future. Providing an exact timeline for this, however, is yet elusive.

The next update will be by the end of the week or when the two services come back online, whichever happens first. We wish to thank all the community for the continued support and understanding you have shown us in the past weeks.

Update: The response file download from StationView service has been restored. You’ll be able to download your (or any Shake) response files by clicking on the following icon

after selecting a station on the map.

We continue to work to restore 24-hour data file download from StationView and access to historical data.

A new update will be posted when this service comes back online. Thank you all.
