Hello!
Ive been having a lot of intermitency in the shakes reading and its power. I thought that it may be the power inlet since it lost power if the cable was slightly moved, so i changed the microusb voltage input, which temporarily fixed the problem, but a couple of week ago it started to show the same signs. For context the shake is in an encosure so external damage is not a possibility. I unplugged it and plugged it again and is now working normally, but i have to repeat the process every other week.
Hello Matiro, and welcome back to the community!
Thanks for posting all the details and the screenshot from DataView. Usually, the most common cause for such intermittent data recording (and the blinking red light on the Pi board) is an equivalent intermittent/lacking power supply.
However, as you have already changed it once, the reason could be elsewhere.
Could I please ask you to access the “rs.local/” page and download the logs from the Shake? Also, could you download one or two of the most recent helicorder images the Shake produces internally and post everything here?
Also, as the Shake is inside an enclosure (great idea!), what is the power pipeline from the nearby power socket to the Shake? Is it power socket - power supply - direct cable to the Shake, or are there more components?
Thank you.
