Hello:
I am considering installing Raspberry Shakes at a research field site in Colorado and I am looking for data from the area overlapping in time with a USGS dataset in 2016-2018. According to the IRIS Station Metadata, a few RS’s were installed then. For example:
http://ds.iris.edu/mda/AM/RCAB1/?starttime=2017-01-25&endtime=2019-04-22
http://ds.iris.edu/mda/AM/R24B9/?starttime=2016-12-21&endtime=2019-04-22
http://ds.iris.edu/mda/AM/R0F46/?starttime=2018-12-26&endtime=2599-12-31
http://ds.iris.edu/mda/AM/R71EC/?starttime=2016-12-20&endtime=2599-12-31
However, these data are not available from the IRIS server and I have not had any luck with FDSNWS at https://fdsnws.raspberryshakedata.com/fdsnws/dataselect/1/builder
I am able to access one set of historical data using SWARM connecting the the RS Community CAPS site. For example, AM R0F46 has data going back to about 2019-10-28.
Are the above data available?
Many thanks
Ben
Hi Ben, I am noticing this too. I will put in a support ticket for it. This data exists, but for some reason FDSN doesn’t know it’s there. Thanks for reporting.
Brilliant - thank you!
Ben
Dear Ian
Is FDSN able to locate the requested data? I’d be grateful if you could let me know if there has been a response, or what the typical timeline is for such a request.
Many thanks,
Ben
Hi Ben,
We are working on it. It’s less easy than it might sound to set up a reliable and secure archive of 20+ TB (and counting) of seismic data.
We are close. We’ll let you know when we have it up and running.
Ian
