Education on earthquake waves

Hello all. I have looking for a long time a site to learn to find quakes on recorder and attempt to interpret. I would love to see a section on this topic. Since my device is somewhat noisy, I cannot find anything. Even tried with confirmed data, time and location. Any suggestions for any web sites to learn from?

Thank you all,
Peter

Hello Peter, welcome back to our community!

We have a beginner’s guide here on our manual: Beginner’s guide to reading seismograms — Instructions on Setting Up Your Raspberry Shake

And we also have some resources in our Educational section, here: https://edu.raspberryshake.org/

And, as for external sites, I recommend you the following two:

https://earthquake.usgs.gov/education/topics.php?topicID=63
https://www.iris.edu/hq/programs/epo

But your suggestion to have a dedicated section is very interesting! I will propose to add something along these lines in our Edu section, and we will see what could come out of it.

Thank you!
