My datacast doesn’t seem to be sending data or rsdup isn’t receiving it, any ideas what it could be?

Can you SSH into your Raspberry Shake (instructions here, if needed) and execute
ping -c 5 192.168.1.69
from it?
This is to check if the Shake can correctly see your other computer on the local network.
If the test comes out as positive, you may need to open the 8888 port on your router (it should be possible via the administration page, better check your router manual for this) because it could be blocking data transmission through that port by default.
Let me know what you find out!
