Is it possible to add the diy raspberry boom kit to an existing raspberry shake?

Unfortunately, no, it’s not possible because of the differences between DIY and turnkey sensor boards between the BOOM and the classic Shake.
I think your best option is to buy the DIY kit for the BOOM and maybe create some kind of enclosure to improve its capabilities, as described in our manual: Raspberry Boom (RBOOM/ RS&BOOM) Infrasound Monitors — Instructions on Setting Up Your Raspberry Shake
