Job Description
Title: Junior Sales Professional
Responsibilities: The Junior Sales Professional will be responsible for understanding both the hardware and software aspects of our seismograph solutions, be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients and prospects, from scientists to K-12 educators and hobbyists, and be able to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Scope: Being successful in this position means effectively answering sales questions that arrive through email and over phone, engaging with current and future clients about their needs with regards to using Raspberry Shakes as their preferred seismographs, understand the needs of the Educational market where Raspberry Shake devices will aid in their STEM goals, understand the needs of professional and scientific clients.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills: combine the hunter and farmer role, personable, great communicator, fluent in English, organized, detail-oriented. Needs to have a basic understanding of sensor technology, Linux and the Raspberry Pi. The ideal candidate is not just a salesperson, you must be a tech-savvy salesperson.
Preferred Skills: Basic understanding of seismology, Spanish-speaking, proven sales success with governmental organizations and understanding of governmental sales processes.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
Educational Background: We value practical skills and experience over formal educational backgrounds.

Personal Attributes
Characteristics: Open communicator, experience in working with skilled technical people, interested in people and technology, self-motivated and being able to be a team player, whilst working remotely.
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English skills, preferably Spanish as well.

The day-to-day
Location: Working will be remote. Upon proven success, traveling may be required for conferences.
Reporting Structure: You will be reporting to the Sales Director and work closely with the office administration and the marketing department.
Work Environment: The company has a very open culture. It is easy to connect to your colleagues. Most people work remotely. It is necessary to be a self-starter.
