Hi guys,
I just did a port scan to try and find my RS on the LAN and found ports 111 and 5000 open.
These are for RCPBIND and uPNP usually.
What does RS use these for? Are they for managing connectivity to ShakeNet?

Hello jason,
This is interesting. We are looking into it and as soon as I have news I will post them here.
hi,
these ports are configured standard with the raspbian-OS and are unused and unchanged by us. we have looked at the consequence of closing them to the outside and when doing so there is no resulting detrimental effect. please feel free to do this yourself if you think you should do this.
until we are made aware that there is something actually wrong with retaining the standard port configurations of a LINUX-style OS, we will leave these ports configured as is.
cheers,
richard
