Returning to net after internet provider failure

I would like to return to the network. My unit has been operating for several months as a “stand-alone” fpr local monitoriing only, due to the loss of my internet provider. During this time, the clock stopped updating. My intenet is now restored but I am not reconnecting to the network.

hello,

this is most likely due to the fact that your clock is now too far off from real time that the NTP command is refusing to set it.

please have a look at the 2nd part of this page in the manual for a couple of different solutions to this:
https://manual.raspberryshake.org/no-network.html

after you’ve set your clock manually to close to real time, reboot and see if there is a change. if not, please send along your log files so we can have a deeper look.

cheers,
richard
