Raspberry Shake 3D board not working

Hi,

we have bought 2 Raspberry shake boards recently. A Shake 1D and a Shake 3D. The Shake 1D works perfectly fine, but we are not able to get the Shake 3D to work.

Situation:
The web interface is accessible. It shows Raspberry type and Shake type as unknown and keeps in state “BOOTING”. The blue LED is OFF. Log indicates that there is no connection to the shake board.

What has been done yet:

  • The power source has been switched. We have used the original Raspberry Pi power adapter and third-party adapters.
  • The Raspberry Pi has been switched. We have used a 3B+ and also a 4B.
  • The MicroSD card has been switched. We have tried multiple SD cards (including the original card). We also formatted and rebuilt the SD card image from the latest GitHub source and Etcher.
  • The board has been tested with geophones attached. All components have been multiply checked for correct connection.

Log is attached.

Thank you very much for the help. I do not have any more ideas at the moment.

Best wishes,

Mario

Hello Mario, and welcome to the community!

Great to hear about the 1D, so let’s see what can be done for the 3D board.

Thank you so much for all the troubleshooting you’ve already done, and the logs from the Shake. I think the most pressing fact is that the LED on the Shake board is OFF, meaning the Shake board is not receiving power or doesn’t turn on.

I’ve sent you a message, so we can continue there.
