Does Raspberry Shake routinely expire logins at random to force reauthentication? If not, why would my phone app logout randomly at periods ranging from every few months to a couple of weeks? These occur with no other actions on my part (restarts, etc.)

Well these happen on every IOS phone I have had. It is not new behavior, just something I decided to ask about. Until recently I used an iPhone 12S Pro running IOS 18.5. Recently, an iPhone 16 Pro running IOS 18.5 as well. Are you saying this is not expected behavior?

In the past, we released a fix that should have addressed these reauthentication requests (and it had a positive effect on my Android phone app behavior). And yes, once you are logged in, you shouldn’t need to do it again as frequently as you describe.
Indeed, your experience suggests that there is still something causing this issue on iOS-based devices, so all the information you’ve provided is very important.
I’ll let you know what our team discovers.
